Timothy Geller, Executive Director

Tim has been our Executive Director since 2003. Other community development experience includes financing and small business support as the Portfolio Manager of the Western Massachusetts Enterprise Fund. He was the founder and president of the Berkshire Interfaith Community Investment Fund. Tim came to the Berkshires in 1984 as a Music Composition Fellow at Tanglewood and still composes. Hobbies include outdoor sports, singing in choirs and raising organic chickens, sheep and Black Angus cattle.

Ian Rasch, Project Manager

Ian has worked on green development and affordable housing projects and has more than a decade of experience as project manager and developer. He most recently worked for Propeller Group in New York and previously worked for Turner Construction in New York on projects including The Hearst Tower (a USGBC LEED Gold certified commercial high rise), Solaire and Verdesian Green apartment buildings, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Breast and Imaging Center, and Greenbelt Brooklyn. Ian has experience in all phases of real estate development through involvement in over 15 industrial, residential and commercial projects as well as projects in Russia, Finland, and Brazil. He has collaborated with the American Institute of Architects on educational programs and served on the task force of various green pilot and incentive programs sponsored by the U.S. Green Building Council, New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, Environmental Protection Agency, Energy Star, National Grid, Con Edison, the Kresge Foundation and the Enterprise Foundation.

Sally Michael Keyes, Communications Director

Sally has extensive background in marketing and public relation for non-profit organizations. She consults for performing arts groups such as the Clark Art Institute and Moscow Ballet and others. She created and implemented projects for Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival including the newly redesigned web site (jacobspillow.org), a redesigned season brochure, and a series of brochures highlighting the institution’s support of dance heritages from around the world. She has worked across all advertising mediums including print, online, radio and TV, and she has developed direct mail and electronic communication campaigns, using regional and national press opportunities to promote organizations or individual events. Sally specializes in development and execution of marketing and public relations campaigns to bring niche audiences to live performances in genres such as dance, classical music and more, and in augmenting budgets and outreach efforts by developing strategic partnerships and sponsorships. Sally is a Commonwealth Corps Volunteer for the CDCSB.
