The Searles/Bryant schools complex is located in downtown Great Barrington, one of the most desirable communities in New England.

The redevelopment plan provides for a “destination” mixed-use project that respects the character of the historic buildings, enhances public access of the Housatonic River, and creates more than 135 permanent jobs.

Project architect, Croxton Collaborative, is one of the country’s pioneers in the use of green building and alternative energy sources. This will be the first project of its size to receive the LEED Gold designation in southern Berkshire County.

Unit Profile
- 40 residential units of which 25% will be affordable and six are professional live-work units
  Residential units from 600 to 2500 SF in size
  19,000 SF of Class A commercial office space
  Three newly constructed, street-front buildings with 12,000 SF retail space
  All units will be built to a high standard of energy efficiency and will use alternative energy sources
