St. James Place

St. James Place

Great Barrington, MA

St. James Place, Inc. was created in 2010 by Sally and Fred Harris for the purchase and historic preservation of St. James Church, Main Street, Great Barrington, MA. Having successfully prevented the imminent demolition of these iconic Main Street structures, the ongoing mission of their newly-formed 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation is to historically restore and transform the sanctuary and Parish House into living and vibrant space for the performing arts, social services and a place of worship. For more information on the scope of work and the development team, please see the complete Project Plan.
